Happy Tuesday, The Electric Indigo, EMO: Braden Mills

$10.00

SATURDAY APRIL 13th

Happy Tuesday is a rock band based in Cincinnati, OH consisting of three multi-instrumentalists and songwriters: Max Patrick (vocals and guitar), Hannah MacNeal (vocals, keyboard, guitar, and violin), and Ivan Brooke (drums and percussion). They each bring their own unique styles and influences to the table but have also bonded over their shared love of folk music, classic rock, and newer alternative rock. Just a few of the bands that have inspired them are Fleet Foxes, Radiohead, and Black Sabbath. They’ve taken these wide-ranging influences and used them to concoct their own unique sound, with an emphasis on potent songwriting.

The Electric Indigo set out to tantalize the Cincinnati/NKY music scene in 2018. A group of lifelong neighbors, childhood friends and schoolmates, The Electric Indigo forged a deep bond rooted in musical expression and a passion to create. Drawing on a range of influences from Pink Floyd, The Allman Brothers, and Marcus King Band, to Herbie Hancock and Rush, the Indigo have developed a powerful, spacy groove mixed with profound storytelling and imagery.

Emerging Artist Opener: Braden Mills is a Berea native. A graduate of Berea College, Braden has been performing theater locally and regionally with the Spotlight Playhouse and Adventure Theater. He recently got into songwriting and started playing guitar. He is regularly seen at Rebel Rebel's open mic nights on Tuesdays, where he plays his music...and Taylor Swift.
