Jockey Onassis, Quitting, The New Developments

$10.00

Saturday April 20th

Quitting - a band that doesn't care. Faith No More covers Fleetwood Mac. Garbage wrote a Broadway stage show. The 1990s called on a translucent landline. It's us , we're calling. We're in the house. We do in all honesty, hate this world.

Jockey Onassis - "Male Backed" Alt Punk band from Lexington KY

Once upon a time, there was a youngster who grew up in Camelot, but dreamed of riding the winner in the Kentucky Derby. He trained and practiced, practiced and trained, day and night. But his dreams were crushed when his parents sold him to a Greek shipping tycoon for a handful of magic beans and a Dead Kennedys CD. And they all lived happily ever after....

The New Developments - The New Developments are a Funk-Rock four piece band from Berea, KY. The band is unique in that it performs original music but also performs cover songs from favorite funk and rock artists. Beginning in 2015, Carol O’Brien (guitar, vocals) and Steven Johnson (drums, vocals) started off as a duo. After a couple of lineup changes, the band has settled in as a “power quartet" which includes Maranda Weckman (lead vocals, keyboard, percussion) and Jason Middleton (bass guitar, vocals). The New Developments high-energy, funky and dynamic set has been heard at festivals and venues around Kentucky and the band continues to create, flourish and entertain audiences today.
